William John Howard Hopkins was born in Frederick Co.Va. in 1762 He marriedSallie Stancil on 22 Oct. 1799 in Edgecomb Co. North Carolina.They had 7 Children.Levi,Mark,Mary,Moses,Sarah,Soloman,and William McCarty. William McCarty married Elizabeth Jane (Love) Wallace. William McCarty was my GGG Grandfather.
