Helen Hopkins was the daughter of Perez and Annie (Stearns) Hopkins. She was born abt 1872 in Jefferson, Lincoln, Maine, and died 24 Feb 1910 in Augusta, Kennebec, Maine. She married Ernest F. Laplain (that's where my interest comes in) 6 Sept 1900 and had two children (Mildred and Harold).
Hopkins is also a surname that runs through my Mother's Maine famiiles.
