Hello brother,

My name is Jerry "Red" Wilson. I went to school with a Lisa Horace in Houston, Texas. We were very close friends, but lost contact when I went into the military over 20 years ago. She's a beautiful lady with a mole on her face. If you could give me some insight as to where she might be, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

aka JJ

First of all, there is "no" Horrace Board on Ancestry.com, so I am hoping that I can contact "Cindy Horrace" through the "Horace" Board. I need to contact her about some Postings that she has done on "Our Kier/Mervin/Weatherford/Floyd Families" on the RootsWeb's WorldConnect Project Website on the Internet.

If anyone knows her, "Please" ask her to pick up this Author's message and ask her to email me. Thank you kindly in advance for any help that anyone can give me, in order to find her.

Hello-- I am researching my Horace/Horrace (the spelling often alternates) family. We have found them in first Georgia (1860/1870 Census). and then Catahoula and La Salle Parishes in Louisiana from 1880 and beyond.

The names I have are Peter and Easter Horace as well as Washington and Camilla Horace (in GA). My most recent Louisiana ancestors are Mary, Violet (Dee) and Buddy Horace. My gr-grandmother was raised in Jena, LA for a time (Willie Mae Cross).

If this rings a bell with anyone please let me know.

Im looking for information on the Horace family. My grandmother's name is Marie T. Horace, Daughter of Raymond Joseph Thomas Sr. and Viola Harris Thomas. She was born April 6, 1922 and died April 24, 2002. Her maiden name was Marie Thomas. She married Frank Horace (born 1900). I'm not sure of the year. I know she lived in Mobile Alabama for quite some time. Any information on ANY of these names would be appreciated!

I have requested some more information about the family reunion so that we may find out if we are related in some kind of way. I spoke with my mother last night and she indicated that we did have some relatives in Alabama and if I can get some more information from JM we may be able to do some research.

I'm not sure if we are related. I don't recognize the names, but that doesn't mean anything because I really don't know anything about the Horace side of the family. All I know is that my grandfather (L.P. Horace) grew up in the Groveton/Pennington, Tx. area and moved to Colmesneil, Tx. later on. His wife's name was Bessie Butler.
Do you recognize any names or cities mentioned?

Sarah Horace, obviuosly we are related. After having researched our Horace Family for over 3 years, I am certain
that you are the offspring of Collin Horace I, (born 1828). It
seems that our Family was scattered in the early part of the 20th Century, and some went to Texas, as well as other parts of the Country. Your Aunt (the daughter of Collins Horace I)
was also named Sarah Horace (James) Am unable to e-mail
you. Your e-mail address has changed since July. Please
post a current e-mail address so that I can contact you.
(Obviously your Cousin) S. Horace II.
