Hi Michelle, thanks for the info and reply. My grandfather John Rae and his wife Dolores Horan are also buried in St. Joseph New Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. Albeit they were buried there much later in the 40s/50s. Maybe it was the place everyone was being buried.

I think the tough part in the case of my Horans is I've been able to reliably track back to Louisville, KY in the 1850s to a James Edward Horan. I wonder if the 2-3 Horan family groups on the Census records in Louisville at that time if they're related to my dad's Horan line. I'm not sure of siblings going back etc.

I had heard my dad call his father John Rae (born 1907) a "hobo" who used to ride the rails for work. John was a Lather/carpenter by trade, as were others in his family.
