Hello, Con,

We were in Donohill in 1995, researching our Horan, O'Brien, and O'Gorman roots from the parish of Anacarty.

We were overwhelmed by the statue of Christ the King on the hill across from the parish school in Donohill. Can you tell me anything of the history of the statue? Was the hill man made?

My "Horan" connection: Catherine Horan m. Richard O'Brien ca 1856, moved to USA. Her second husband was Thomas O'Gorman, son of Thomas O'Gorman and Sarah O'Brien of Anacarty.
