I'm trying to get more info about the Horans that settled in Louisville, Kentucky in the 1840/50s...I believe this was Edward Horan born in the 1820s in Ireland.

John Edward Horan was born in Louisville, Kentucky around 1872, he married Mary Ida Clements in 1902 and moved to Birmingham, Alabama by the early 1900s. He worked as a railroad yard patrolman. He died in a car crash in Birmingham, Alabama February of 1929.

John Edward Horan's mother was a woman named Beatrice Gumph, as listed on John's death certificate, but I can't seem to find anything about her except she appears in the 1900 U.S. Census.

So, any info or leads on the Horans, Gumphs or Clements families is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
