Solomon Hornbeck and Cynthia Dove (Doss) married in Vermilion Co IL in 1860. They were in Ford Co IL in Paxton in 1870 and 1880, and Cynthia Hornbeck filed an affidavit for a civil war pension from there in 1890. I find her again widowed in Cook Co, Calumet, IL in 1910. Other Hornbecks listed with them in censuses were L. Don Hornbeck, born ca 1847; Catherine E., born ca 1853; Lucinda, born ca 1860; Jonathan Dove Hornbeck, born ca 1865, and Eddie Hornbeck, born ca 1872. The oldest two were born in Virginia, and the rest in Illinois. I am researching the Dove side of the family, but would be interested in any information on any of these Hornbecks. Thank you.
