HORSES TO START YEAR WELL.
The poor and needy horses of the city, if their number does not exceed 300, may begin the new year with full stomachs, if they will drop around to the rear of 521 Garfield avenue, next Monday. Mrs. E. D. HORNBROOK, who was one of the promoters of the Christmas dinner for horses, made this announcement yesterday.
"We have about 300 feeds left over from Christmas," said Mrs. HORNBROOK. "We are not going to keep them until next year, so of course a New Year's feed is in order."
(I have no connection with this family but hope this posting helps you.)
