Trying to locate relatives of Mary Freeman of Marion Co./ Baxter Co. AR who married a Hornbuckle and resided in this area--early 1900's...I am of her Sister's line,,,Martha Ann Freeman who married Alfred Messick. Martha Ann and Alfred Messick's daughter, Lela Messick Byrd was my Grandmother. We know nothing of Martha's family except that she had a sister Mary (who married Hornbuckle) a brother Ben also--possibly another sibling---assuming something happened to their parents as they were all placed in different homes in that area at young ages. Martha died in Little Rock, AR in a mental institution, 1911 (I believe) when my Grandmother was 7 years old. Martha was admitted by "Ben", brother, approximately 6 months after birth of another child in 1910..On papers, which my Mother has,,describes,,what we believe is depression,,,,she died of that and heart failure in that hospital and is buried in the hospital cemetary in Little Rock...If anyone has any information on Martha,,,please contact me....E-mails always welcome...Thanks...Marcia
