I come to a dead end when trying to locate info on my great grandfather Christian Horning (1849-1811). His wife's name was Matilda. They lived in Pewaukee, Wisconsin and had 6 kids (Mary, Arthur, Edward, Maud, Harry and Fred).

Harry (1886 - ?) went out west in the early 1900's. He wrote letters for a few years and then stopped. We assumed he was killed, but I just found several links to him in the 1940's in Sacramento, Oroville and San Joaquin, CA. Has anyone ever heard of him or his family?
