Jan,

My Daniel was born in Limerick, however found him in Rhode Island, USA with daughter Mary who was married to Arthur French.in 1849. Mary was born in 1835 and was
also born in Ireland, but where I do not know. She had a brother I believe also named Daniel who was a sailor under Arthur French on the Pacific Mail Steamship 'Northerner" when it was sunk off of the California Coast
in 1860, Arthur died in the shipwreck however Daniel Hourigan/Horrigan survived. That is all I know about the second Daniel. I am now looking
for their father Daniel's marriage to ????????? somewhere in Ireland.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, perhaps they had a brother John.
