I am looking for information of Hugh Hosey (1810-1865), a convict to NSW on the Manilius 1827. He married Mary Dennehy (1819-1886), an Irish convict to NSW on the Diamond 1838. Mary had a sister, Honora.
Hugh and Mary' marriage cert spells the name Hossie.
They had 3 children: Elizabeth, Sarah and Margaret (Maggie.
Elizabeth (Betsy)(b.9 May 1850, d.3 Sept 1933) married Charles John Jones (d.22 May 1914). They were both teachers in the Armidale region. They had 11 children.
There is a granddaughter called Edie Cook, married to Stan Cook. (BUT I am trying to follow the Jones line).
Sarah (9Aug 1846) married George Jones (d.14 Jun 1920). They had 13 children. Including Hugh,James, Charles John. Charles John had a son Charles Garnet Jones.

I am looking for the connection to James David Jones, father of Lionel Charles (Charlie) Jones.
I am hoping, the above James is it, & need verification.
