Lung and liver problems

Hello all. This may be a morbid topic but may be inportant. I have been diagnosed with a genetic liver condition called Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. Because of genetic defect my liver produces a malformed protein that is needed to protect the body from self destruction especially the lungs. If there is a history of unexplained deaths due to lung or liver problems please contact me. If anyone has had emphysema before the age of 50 of been diagnosed with cirrhosis but never drank I may have the answer. I am trying to trace the gene defect back as far as possible in the Hosley line. Others have traced the defect back as far as the 900's and the Vikings. Sounds far fetched but true..
Thanks all
