I am looking for information on the John Henry Hottel and Rebecca Jane (Kretzinger/Cretsinger) family of Shenandoah Co., VA. I am writing a family history book for a thesis project, and this family is one I have the least information on, though I do have quite a bit considering the situation. Rebecca dies in 1913, and was living with her son Newton "Hottle" according to the 1910 Census, in Virginia, Frederick, Gainesboro. Obituaries, or biographic sketches, diaries, personal memories, anyting to help me get an idea about this farming family would be helpful.
