Surnames: Hourigan, Haurigan, Horrigan, Howrigan, Hawrigan, Harrigan,
I am also looking into the Hourigans from County Tipperary. Mine came by way of Canada into MI. However, we have a Thomas b. abt 1822 in Co. Tipperary, and if records I've found are correct, he had a brother John, born about 1825-1828, who also came to the USA. There were two brothers who left for Australia. They all seem to be the same family, but I'm still digging up documentation. Any info you have would be gladly accepted, and I'm happy to share what I know. Best Regards, Cinda
