Classification: Query
Surnames: hourihan O'Donovan O'Sullivan
Trying to figure out the connection between the RI Hourihans and the O'Donovan/O'Sullivans who lived in Skibbereen, Co. Cork and emigrated to Providence, RI early 1900's. There were Hourihan and McCarthy cousins in Providence.

Jeremiah O'Donovan and Katherine Farr had at least two daughters, Annie c.1859, married John O'Sullivan Bear (d.1897),they lived in Skibbereen and had 5 children. Nellie (Ellen) b.c. 1864, never married.

Hannah Hourihan arrived in Boston in 1902 with cousin Katherine O'Sullivan. Both listed their local sponsor as their Aunt, Nellie Donovan.

One of O'Sullivan girls may have married an O'Brien in Skibbereen

Hanna Hourihan married John J. Healy in Providence, RI in 1908.

Mary Ellen Hourihan married Thomas Heffernan in Providence on April 24,1918.

John J. Hourihane died in WW1. There was a memorial mass for him in Providence on Dec. 2, 1918. Attendees included, the O'Sullivans, Agnes O'Brien Harvey, M. Buckley, Del. Moore and Mary O'Brien Mansfield (Mary was also an O'Sullivan cousin. She lived in Dorchester, MA and visited Drimoleague in 1906).

Were Hannah, Mary Ellen and John J. Hourihan siblings?
Was their mother another sister to Nellie O'Donovan and Annie O'Donovan O'Sullivan?

How are they all connected to the O'Briens and the McCarthy's.

Can anyone make a connection?
