Captain, organized a Company during the Revolution
and as itâ€™s Captain served from 1777 to 1781,
under Colonel Polk and Colonel Francis Loke.
He was severely wounded in the thigh in the Battle of Ramsour's Mill
from which he never fully recovered and drew a pension while he lived.
Captain Houston furnished the only Muster Roll to be found so far,
and is still preserved. Served in North Carolina.
