Howell's from Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland, Canada
Hi, We are looking for any information on the Howell Family that was from Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland, Canada.
My grandfather, William Thomas Howell b. 1902, emigrated to New York City in the 1920's. He was one of 4 children. His brother Llewellyn and sister Mable, both died young and never married. His youngest brother was named Stephen and was born in the late 20's. He had 2 sons that I am aware of who would be in their 50's now. They stayed in Newfoundland. My father was an only child and is now sad that he really never thought to ask his parents much about their past in Newfoundland. He did visit there once in 1948 and only remembers bits and pieces(no electricity or running water)and they lived on an island.
