Mother's maiden name was Mildred A. Hoxie, born 4/13/01 in Foxcroft, Maine (now Dover-Foxcroft), daughter of George Hoxie, niece of Clarence Hoxie and Rance Hoxie. Hoxie House in Sandwich, Mass believed to have been my family's at one time. This is the oldest house on the Cape but we didn't live there until the 1800's. Ancestors Ludwig Von Hoxie and another forgotten name, one was a whaling captain and another a schoolmaster. This found out when visiting Hoxie house. Never seriously researched the family. Am starting now (better late than never).
