Thank you so much for looking. The William Hoxie I am researching is the son of Capt. Joseph Hoxie (wife thought to be a Miss Reynolds) from the line of Lodowick and Mary Presbury Hoxie. William's wife was Edie Kenyon. William and Edie had twin sons, George and Gideon, born in Stephentown, NY. Gideon is my ggg-grandfather and he married Henrietta Lacey. The 1850 Census of Stephentown, NY lists Gideon and Henrietta as having four daughters; Sally Ann, Angelina (we called her Annie - my gg-grandmother), Martha, and Abba. One of the daughters married someone with the surname Culver, whose son at age 6 years was living with his grandparents William and Henrietta Hoxie in Stephentown according to the 1870 and still in 1880 Federal Census.
