I am looking for people who believe they may descend from the Hoy family in Fairfield, SC, to do autosomal DNA test or if you have a male Hoy line to do yDNA test. You do NOT have to be a male or even have the Hoy surname to do the autosomal DNA. I have autosomal DNA results at Ancestry, 23andme and GEDmatch. I am awaiting results of yDNA test for a male subject from my Hoy line. I would also be interested in knowing if any other Hoys from SC, VA, PA have done yDNA or willing to do yDNA test to see if we are related.
