I am trying, without much luck, to trace my line of the Huckabays. The furthest I have been able to get is my great grandfather. My grand parents had my mother later in life so most of my family has passed and its hard to find anyone who knows much past my great grandfather. What I do know is his name was Philip Frank Huckabay, born Sept. 21, 1895 and died in 1967. He was born in Louisiana, most likely anyhow. My grandfather, his son, Willie Benjamin Huckabay was the oldest and was also born in Louisana. They migrated to Texas where the family has stayed ever since. This probably happened around the early part of the 1920s but I have no proof of anything.
