Nicholas and Abigail Hoffman came from NY State to Niagara c. 1786. Issue: Mary (b. 1754 married Henrich Neher), Nicholas (Butler's Rangers), Jacob (b. 1759 Loyal Rangers - married Ann Ransier), Michael (b. 1763 VA - married Elizabeth Ransier; Hope Tuttle Silverthorn) and Elizabeth (married Michael Beach). Descendants settled in Welland, Haldimand, Elgin and Lambton Counties - some moved to US. Interested in corresponding with other researchers.
