Joseph Hughey m'd Hannah Noland in 1795 in Greene County, GA
Joseph only mentions 2 children in his assignment of estate administrator & the administrators were challenged by a James Hughey. It was also signed by a Lucinda Hughey.
The administrators were his youngest son, Ephraim Hughey & son in law, William G Bilbo who, in truth married dau. Susan Emma Hughey on the 16th of Aug, 1829. Joseph died Aug 9, 1829. William & Ephraim sold the holdings, all but a few farm tools by Dec. 1832 & were in Newnan, Coweta Co, GA by 1833. James has never been found. Thomas m'd Sarah B Fielder & moved to Carroll Co, GA. Seaborn m'd Lucy Patrick & also moved to Carroll Co, GA. Lucinda m'd Robert Hudson & settled Newnan, Coweta Co, GA. Sarah, the eldest dau. m'd Edward Oliver Huston Dameron. Mary Ann m'd Charles L Holmes & settled Newnan, Coweta Co, GA. Ephraim GC m'd Sarah Jones of Newnan, Coweta Co, GA. Hannah lived out the rest of her life with Susan Emma & William G Bilbo.
