I have just seen your message and two other earlier ones. My wife's maiden surname was HULLS. Her father was Albert W.Hulls, b - 1902. This man had 3 sisters and one brother. The brother's name was Jonathon E. Hulls and the sister's names were, as we knew them, Edith, Lillian and Grace. My father-in-law and his family always said they were descended froma a Jonathon Hulls who had a patent for a steam tug from Elizabeth the First. I have tried to trace my wife's family back,but have been unable to find out what his father's name was. His mother apparently had married a second time and they knew her only as Grandma Jessop (?), not even a first name.He did mention at one time he had a cousin still living in the Birmingham area, but that was some 46+ years ago, as he died in July 1962. I am in Canada.
