LAKELAND - Mrs. Nancy S. Humes, age 52, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2009 from heart failure.
Born in Graceville, Florida on March 7 1957, she came to Lakeland in 1974 from Illinois. She loved photography and her three grandchildren were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and Sister Flora Nell Hammock. She is survived by her husband of 37 years John R Humes, son: John D Humes of Bartow, daughter: Brandy Igancio, her three grandchildren, Jessica, Destiny, Taylor Igancio of Lakeland, Florida. Sisters: Betty Hendricks, Linda Bingham of Alabama, Joanne Coffee, Patsy Wells, Myria Rutherford of Florida.
Family will receive friends Friday June 12, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lakeland Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will be at Lakeland Memorial. Gardens. Online condolences are available at lakelandfuneralhome.com
