Moses Hunt was the son of James Hunt Jr, who was the father of Sion Hunt, who was the father of Daniel Crumley Hunt, my ggrandfather. Moses married Tamar Tyner, daughter of Richard Tyner of Elbert Co. Ga. Tamar and her sister? were kidnapped by Indians and carried to the coweta indian lands, where later her sister? was freed by the indians by a man who later married her. Tamar eventually escaped, went down the Chattahoochee river to appalachecola,traveled across Fla. went up the Savannah river to her home in Elbert Co.
