Emma Jean "Jean" Hunter, 88,
formerly of Cambridge Springs,PA, and Erie, Pa.,
passed away July 23, 2012.
Jean was born in Wesleyville, Pa.
and moved to The Villages from Orlando, Fla. in 2002. She was of the Presbyterian faith and was a former member of Eastminister Presbyterian Church and Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church. Jean loved playing cards, cooking, travelling, camping and having breakfast on the beach. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the White Shrine. Jean is survived by her daughters, Carol Hunter and her partner Tom Hoyer, Bailey, Colo.; Gail Bowen and her partner Mark Crosby, Homestead, Fla.; son, John (Gloria) Hunter, Jr., Conroe, Texas; brother, Richard (Eve) Alexander, Cambridge Springs, Pa.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at noon at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services â€" The Villages, The Villages, Florida with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery on Monday. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages, The Villages, Florida.
