I have a transcript from a John Dearen (Dearing) bible from the 1700's that list several Hunters:
John Hunter: born Sept. 1, 1736
Frances Hunter: born Aug. 7, 1738
Ransum Hunter: born May 11, 1740
??? Hunter: born April 1, 1745
??? Hunter: born Aug. 13, 1746
Moses Ransum Hunter: born Jan. 24, 1748; now deceased.
Calab Hunter: born March 10, 1750
Joshua Hunter: born Oct. 30, 1751
Adam Hunter: born March 25, 1786
