My name is Renee Hine O'Brien, and my great grandmother was Jennie Huntington Hine. I have a Huntington family bible from 1848 and the earliest entry recorded in it is the birth of George E. Huntington, 1813. He married an Abigail Gallant who was born in 1818. Their children were George Allen Huntington, 1839, Alfred Huntington, 1841, Sarah Jane Huntington, born 1843, Mary Elvira Huntington born 1847 and Gideon Huntington, born 1852.
George Huntington was the son of Luther Huntington who died in 1850. George had a brother, Henry Huntington who died at age 34 in 1850. George senior died at age 40 in 1853. Mary and Gideon died as children. George Allen died at age 25 in 1864. He may have been a war casulty. George Allen married a Katherine Bishop in 1858. Alfred died in 1899 at age of 58. Sarah Huntington married Andrew J. Hine in 1863 and Jennie must be their daughter. Jennie Huntington Hine died at age 77 in 1921 and is buried in Auburn New York. She had a son named Ray Hine who married a Dasiy Adams. Ray and Daisy are also burried in Auburn. Daisy attended St Peter's Episcopal church in Auburn.
Are any of these Huntington's known to you? I thought they were from Auburn New York but not sure now. Perhaps New England
