Surnames: Hurd/Horton /Merchant NY State
Looking for information on Hurd family. Roswell Hurd born NY ABT 1827, Married Loretta Hannah Merchant. in 1850 they were in Washington Co, NY TOWN OF Greenwich. They had children names Uretta Melvina and George E.
1860 they were in the town of Western in Oneida Co. children George, May or Mary, Fred, Ella, Joseph and Samuel.
1870 they were living in Boonvile, Oneida Co
with children Frederick, Samuel and ELLA.
I know their daugther Uretta Melvina Hurd married first Harry Horton and lived in 1880 in Boonville, NY then she married George Stokes and lived in Watertown, NY
Any info on this branch of Hurds would be appreciated.
