Hopefully someone can help me with this.

We start with Thaddeus Hurd (b. 1775 d. 1845) and his wife Sarah Hurd (b. 1776 d. 1865), in Sandgate, Bennington, VT. According to their son Clark's biography in Erie NY, they have five children:

At least Thaddeus, Hiram, and Clark moved to Erie NY before 1830. Hiram (and maybe the others) also lived in Amsterdam, Montgomery NY for a few years because one of his sons, George Wilson Hurd, was born there. Anyway, Hiram married Louisa Sherburn ca. 1823 (her obit says in VT, but that seems unlikely), and had six children:

Hiram & Louisa, Ira, George & Abigail, and John, are all bured in Bennetts Corners Cemetery in Brunswick, Medina, OH.
