I am searching for family members in the Huron family in the San Antonio area. My grand father was Martin Huron, b: 1896, d 1942; he had a brother named Blas Huron Jr.b 1898 d 1977. Their father's name was Blas Huron who was married to a Clara Olvera. After Clara Olvera died, date unkown, Blas remarried to a Cruz, last name unkown. I have found a Blas Huron, son of a Jose Maria Huron. Don't know if this is one and the same gg grandfather.

The birth certificate for my grandfather, Martin, lists he was born in San Marcos, Hayes county. My GG Grandfather, Blas is listed as being born in Bergs Mill, TX. which is located down in the Missions area along the S.P. RR, Old Corpus Christi Rd, and Brooks Air Force Base. Clara Olvera Huron is listed as being born in Luling TX.

Any information about this family would be appreciated.

Ross-Hurin/Huron

Someone out there can explain and prove my Sam Ross connection to Huron/Hurin line that lived in Hendricks county Indiana - Both families migrated from Ohio to Indiana in 1830's. Also know that the Huron/Hurin line was originally MaHurin . A book entitilded "Warp and Woof " seems to hint that my Ross is connected to the Hurin line

Does anyone have a Pytha Huron in their family? He was born in 1870, and married a Norah Hamilton, I think.

Any information would be appreciated. Pytha's son was Diarus Huron.

DR. T.W.HURON OF SCOTT COUNTY, INDIANA

I have a newspaper article with a picture of Dr. and Mrs. T.W. Huron that reads: "Dr. and Mrs. T.W. Huron (above) of Scott Co., Indiana recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary among 75 friends at a turkey dinner. They are 80 and 75 years old respectively and continue to enjoy good health on their farm where they have lived for 49 years." Unfortunately it has no date. It was found among Gerald Johnson's things and he was from Little York, Indiana originally. I am trying to find out who these people are and if there is a family connection.

just recently i returned from satx, where i did archival research on the hurons or hurones as the family
was often referred to. the stories are interesting. my maternal grandmother' mother was Santa Huron Uriegas.
Santa married Diego Uriegas and they had the following children: Juan Uriegas, Jose Uriegas, Erasamo Uriegas,
David Huron Uriegas, Santos Urieags and Elvira Uriegas. Elvira had my mother out of wedlock at an early
age. unfortunately, she had to give my mother up. Elvira later married my mother's father and the two
attempted to get my mom back. my mom spent time with them and the rest of the
family. the woman who had my mom decided not to give my mom back and fled.

my mom's birth certificate was changed and she hasn't seen her family since then. i found her paternal
side of the family and recently met them. i have had no such luck with the Huron's or Uriegas's.
i visited their graves at the el carmen, i found everyone but my grandmother's site. jimmy valdez,
the super. said she may be buried ontop of her parents. she died in the 1960's.

i am desperate to find the children of elvira's brothers (mentioned above). they would have the
answers or links to my past. good luck to everyone and hello marisa i dont have your e-mail or
else i would have e-mailed you with the new info.
