I am looking for a August Husson's family in Paris, France. I recent letter i recieved explained that at one time, between probally 1800-1900 this Husson family owned a vineyard in paris, france next to the Seine River. The estate was owned by August Husson's parents the names are currently unknown. But in the late 1800's when the parents died they left it to family, But august and his wife also died around the same time and fairly young, leaving the estate in france unclaimed. Some time later, i believe it must have been the 1930's one of August's Grandchildren while in the navy WW2, went to France. His name was Edison Husson, the son of Lawrence Husson. Only he came to late, and found out the government had taken possesion of the estate. If anyone has any info of this it would be greatly appreciated.
August Husson immigrated to america in the 1860's and went to college in Pennsylvania for engineering. He then moved to Breitung, Michigan where he was a mining superintendant and also owned a hotel in Norway, Michigan. He was married and had at least six children. If you see any connection to your family or have any info on this family please email me.
