Am seeking information on parents of Jesse HUTCHESON born 1799, Georgia. Jesse married Sarah MITCHELL born 1798-1801, Georgia. They lived in Lawrence County, Brush Creek, Tennesse from abt. 1818 to 1855. Family & friends moved to Barry County, Missouri abt. 1855. Jesse must have died about that time because we have not been able to find data on him after 1853. Sarah and most of the children moved to Benton County, Arkansas after 1860(probably prior to Civil War). Some members of our family have indicated that Jesse's father may have been John HUTCHESON, but have not been able to confirm. Jesse's son Wm. Ragsdale HUTCHESON (my g-g-grandfather) married Lydia Wade MORRIS, daughter of Isaac MORRIS. Have much information on Jesse's children and others---but sure could use some help on Jesse's parents
