Thank you. I was coming around to the belief that somehow he was an orphan or his mother and father had died. I kept seeing a John with some other folks that seemed to be an uncle or aunt. I can't see the census images very good so thank you for "reading " to me what I've been trying to see. Your logic makes perfect sense to me. He is everywhere in Anson cty after 1870 and buried in the Birmingham cemetery out Hwy 109 I think. Would love to go there if possible. Thank you. Oh How are you related to him?
