Finally located the Hyden's in Laurel County census of 1880. The family was in the Raccoon Dristrict #56. Madison, born TN, age 52, was a widower. Daughter Betsy age 23 was divorced. Catherine age 20 was still single but will wed James Lee Owens in September. Madison's father born VA and his mother born TN. The other 2 family members are young children - Jackson age 7, and Frank age 3. Census states they are Madison's children, but could they be Elizabeth's (Betsy) children?? Seek info on who Elizabeth was married to. Past posts indicate a Tom Ratlieff. Also seek info on Madison and Drucilla's deaths and burials. Any info will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks, Rhonda
