HYDES ~ from Lincolnshire to New Zealand.

I am researching the following family names in Lincolnshire UK:
GOOD Joseph m. Martha ? in Abt 1840 in Spilsby Lincolnshire England. They had 8 children born from 1841 to 1851. One, Joseph Good b. 1842 m. Ellen Hyde in 1864 and emigrated to New Zealand the following year.
HYDES John b. Abt 1822 m. Sabina Abt 1841. Ellen was one of 6 siblings born between 1842 to 1851. I suspect that other siblings from this family also emigrated to New Zealand, and like the Good family settled on the Canterbury Plains where they were involved in farming.

Iwould love to hear from anyone searching for the descendants of Frederic Hyde born 1822 in Royston. He married Elizabeth Peaker and they had, as far as I know, 4 children, Thomas 1853, Hannah 1855, Joseph 1857 and Eliza 1858, all born in Royston or Monk Bretton

Can anyone help? I am looking for my great-grandfather, Henry Tate (AKA Harry). He was in service in West Yorkshire (possibly Huddersfield). My grandfather's (Morris, born 1908) birth certificate says Harry was a Coachman Domestic and that his wife was called Edith HYDES. However, my grandfather's brother's (Fred, born 1910) birth certificate says Edith's maiden name was HAYES. They lived in Windhill, Shipley, West Yorkshire. I cannot find Henry & Edith's marriage on the marriage register. Any help or advice gratefully accepted!

My family have lived in Harthil for I am told 400years, my Uncle is currently the last of us to live there, as my Grandma sadly passed away last year

I am looking for the Hydes that live in Cullman co in the late 50's. The children of James M Hyde in1925 werelisted as 7 living.One was Albert Hyde of Arkadelphia. Father listed as Jim and mother listed as Molly Maddox. There was also a Susie Booth living inSaraton. I may have already contacted you -my apologies if this is so. I have a Mary Hydes who married William Whitehead 24.05.1831 Harthill. Her parents were William Hydes and Sarah Morton who married 11.04.1807 Doncaster. Mary was Christened 21.02.1808 Harthill. I have further info.on allied names. Colleen

I am also looking for Hydes/Hides. My great-great grandparents were John William Hides and Mary Jane Meeks who moved to London but I have no idea where they came from. Their date of birth was around l840. What are the dates of your Yorkshire Hydes?

I am looking for ancestor history of my grandmother HELEN ANN HYDE b. 12/16/1877, d. 5/12/1940. She was born in Annsville, NY, m. WILLIAM JOHN DWYER1909.

They had the following children, DAVID, JOHN, MARTIN, WILLIAM, MARY FRANCIS AND HELEN.

Do not forget that there are as many forms of spelling Hyde as your imagination allows ! Check EVERY form of spelling Eg:
Ide/Hide/Hyder/Hyydde/Hyad/Heyde, even Van der Hyde.

Ann Jane Hydes (his wife) died 13 March 1990.

Note: This Thomas mught be my grandmother's brother. I will search the Newspaper Library.
