We have found Hipolites in the 1825 Catlin, Tioga Co. NY Census. Casimere V. , Willet Y. , James F. This is the 1st thing so far on my family tree (Hipolite) We are from the James S. Hipolite, Martha Clark link. Not sure at this point if this is our link, but wanted to share it with all of you. Our James S. Hipolite was born 1800 NY. They moved to Michigan about 1850-60.
If anyone has info we would appreciate it.
