PLYMOUTH, Ohio: Lucia "Lucille" Fazzini, age 84, resident of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012, at MedCentral/Shelby Hospital following a brief illness.
Born August 20, 1927 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Bernard and Catherine Iaquinta, she had been a resident of Plymouth, Ohio the majority of her life.
Lucille was a mother and homemaker and volunteered with the Plymouth American Legion, Plymouth Lion's Club and with many Red Cross Bloodmobile drives.
She is survived by her three daughters, Minnie (Jerry) Zeger of Mansfield, Ohio, Martha (Jeff) Hall of Fremont, Ohio and Vickie Mawhorr of Shelby, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bree Stahl (Dave) Guard, Shannon Hall, Stacy (Brian) Miller, Brandon (Brittany) Mawhorr, and Jared Mawhorr (Lindsey Donahue); one great-granddaughter, Morgan Sexton; her brother, Sam Iaquinta, two sisters, Rose Fazzini and Mary Gearde, all of Clarksburg, West Virginia, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Fazzini in 2007.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
