Know for sure that my g-grandfather Adam and Terez Illek were in New Jersey in 1903, they had a child named Erzsebet (Elisabeth), they went back to Hungary a few years later.

The interesting part is that Ellis Island ship logs showed a Michaly (Michael) Illeg come to the US in 1911. It is possible they stayed and that Michaly and Adam are brothers.

The story is after WWII they illegally changed their name from Illeg to Illek. Would like to hear from anyone with info.
