have just been to basingstoke in hampshire and these names on some gravestones. Don`t know if the names can help anyone, but here goes: Sherbourne StJohnn Church. James Ilsley died Jan.24 1886 aged 66. Sarah ilsley died March 8th 1858. Charles Ilsley died Nov.7th 1861 aged 79. Jane ilsley wife of Edmund died Jan.1st 1882 age 72. Edmund husband of Jane died Dec.31st 1899 age 83. Sarah ann ilsley wife of william died April 19 1925 aged 79. William Ilsley died May 29th 1892 age 60. George son of Charles and sarah Ilsley who died feb. 3rd 1853 age 52.Harriet Jane Ilsley died Oct. 20th 1871 age 18. Harriet wife of George died oct.21 1855 age 33. Fanny ilsley died (month unreadable) 1807,no age. The last one i was not able to make sense of! It just had William Sarah Ann Ilsley born Dec.12th 1869, died May 12th 1879. Hope this helps someone.
