HEADLINE: GARY INGERSOLL DIES AT 48 IN N. CAROLINA
Gary Louis Ingersoll, 48, of 3650 Mar-Cliff Road, Hope ills, N.C.,formerly of Lowville, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound March 18at his home.
A graveside service was held Monday in the Cumberland Memorial GardenCemetery, Fayetteville, N.C. Arrangements were with Reeves Funeral Home,Hope Mills.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jane Hanno; a son, Jeffrey, Asheville,N.C.; a daughter, Jill, at home; his parents, Walter and EvelynIngersoll, Lowville; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Sally) Brown, Lowville,and Mrs. Bruce (June) Turck, Port Leyden; a grandmother, Anna BelleIngersoll, Martinsburg; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Born March 4, 1946, in Watertown, he graduated from Lowville Academy andCentral School and served in the Army for a time.
Mr. Ingersoll owned a cable company in North Carolina.
