Surnames: Innes, Mair, Ross, Hay, Grant, Warren, Walker, Fraser, Cruickshank, Davidson, Robertson, Gordon, Gray, Sim, Milne, Trail, Simpson, Walmsley, Sloan, Ellis, Roberts, Fernandez, Hook, Breen, Watt, Ogg, Ledingham, Forrest, Jack, MacDonald
...Sadly, I have recently been informed that there was once an Innes family bible dating to the 1700's, Fraserburgh ABD/BAN SCT primarily, but by no means limited to those areas. There may also be MOR SCT, US (NY), CAN (AB, MB, SK, PQ), and many Liverpool ENG records within, as the family spread. I have no real idea of how far back it went.
Some family names would be Innes, Mair, Ross, Hay, Grant, Warren, Walker, Fraser, Cruickshank, Davidson, Robertson, Gordon, Gray, Sim, Milne, Trail, Simpson, Walmsley, Sloan, Ellis, Roberts, Fernandez, Hook, and Breen.
If it included my gg...'s siblings, additional names may be
Watt, Ogg, Ledingham, Forrest, Jack, and MacDonald.
This bible was left to a cousin in the 70's in Edmonton AB CAN. The cousin shortly afterwards returned to Liverpool ENG for a while and the bible hasn't been seen since. It was either lost or tossed in Alberta or Liverpool. I don't know the cousin nor her name.
I was just told the story by my fathers cousin three weeks ago. Most of the records would be in SCT and ENG. I am only the second generation out of SCT/ENG in my branch.
Thanks
Pat
