My great grandfather was Pietro Iovino who came to NYC in 1906 from Lercara Friddi in Sicily. Pietro's wife was Rosalia Abbate. Children: Stefano (who I think was an undertaker), Salvatore, Antonino, Carmela, Giuseppe and Gaspare. The children would have been born in Lercara in the 1880's and 1890's. Some of them may have Americanized their names, and Iovino became Iovin.

It does not sound like the Carmela in your tree and mine are the same but the fact that they are both from Lercara is to close to ignore
