Descendants of John Irish, 1629-1963

When one does a search for John Irish living in Rhode Island in the 1600s, one gets a numbers of hits on a John Irish who married Elizabeth Risley in about 1640 and had a son also named John Irish who was born in about 1641 in Duxbury, MA. When I have downloaded the associated Gedcom files I have been disappointed to see that the data for later generations seems rather scanty when compared with the 15,275 descendants of John Irish recorded in the 662-page 1964 book
