I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “John Irwin”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in New Milford (Litchfield Co.) CT in about 1895, and he looks to be about 40 years old.

I found a John Irwin in the 1870 census for Darien (Fairfield Co.) CT, age 17, son of Joseph and "Wineford" Irwin. He matches the age of the man in the photo, but there are three other John Irwins (in Hartford and Middlesex Counties) born in approximately the same time frame.
