You have probably received information by now, but Rachel was the daughter of Samuel and ? JONES. I am trying to learn the mother's name. My dad said it was Rachel or Catherine (Katie) Conat. I have no other proof. She must have died around 1840 as that is when the last child, Daniel, was born. Samuel is then living at Ft. Madison, Iowa, Lee County in the 1850 census with the two smaller children.
