Still doing research on my family and would be interested in any updates you have on the Icenhour Family.

Jacob Icenhour was killed June 27, 1862 during the Battle of Gaines Mill, one of the Seven Days Battles outside Richmond, VA. He, in all probability, was buried in an unmarked grave on the battlefield. This battle is sometimes referred to as the First Battle of Cold Harbor. The battle generally known as Cold Harbor was fought over same ground in May/June 1864.

Myra is buried at Friendship Lutheran Church in Alexander County near her brother and Jacobs parents and other family members. Still trying to trace her ancestors. My great grandmother, Amanda Icenhour Moose is buried in Danville, VA.
