As we all know, there were three Ishmaels in Revolutionary War: Benjamin, Robert and Thomas. Records prove that Robert died the winter of Valley Forge. After the war, Benjamin moved to Kentucky, had a large family of sons and daughters who moved to Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri. But, Thomas, whom we assume was his brother, also had a lot of sons with the same names. He moved to Greene Cty, TN in @ 1782, then to Giles Cty, TN in 1820, then the son, Benjamin, moved on to Arkansas (Craighead and Greene Ctys) in 1830, then his sons stayed or moved on (1860) to Texas (both Sulphur Springs and Limestone Cty., TX). They married into Oswalts and Poseys and acquired Creek Indian blood. They migrated to Oklahoma in 1880s for free Creek land grants.
